Developed and delivered by some of Sydney’s leading music educators and conductors, SYO Orchestral Musicianship for Strings offers a conceptual and technical counterpart to the practical ensemble skills SYO musicians develop through their weekly rehearsals. 

Orchestral Musicianship for Strings is compulsory for those enrolled in SYO’s weekly orchestral Strings program (Stages 1, 2, and 3) and fees are included in yearly enrolment.

Classes are delivered via weekly Zoom meetings through SYOnline.

 

This program is currently only available for students enrolled in Stages 1-3 of the SYO Strings Program and not external musicians.

Students do not need to enrol in this program. Enrolment is automatic as part of the SYO membership.

Wednesday afternoons weekly

Classes take place during NSW School Term periods. There are 6 sessions per school term

Weekly classes are delivered via SYOnline and live through zoom each week

SYO Orchestral Musicianship classes are included in your enrolment in the SYO Strings Program.
