At the core of SYO are our young people and our weekly orchestral training ensembles and orchestras. Musicians progress through our orchestras spending at least 2 years per ensemble, developing individual and ensemble skills under the careful guidance of artistic staff, conductors and leading professional musicians.

In addition to equipping our emerging artists with the skills for careers in music, our program also focuses on developing well-rounded young people who can work as a team, show discipline, listen to one another and are not scared to lead.
