Stage 2 Strings

Musicians in Stage 2 Strings are introduced to increasingly complex orchestral concepts so that they may refine skills such as:

  • Effectively and confidently sight read
  • Progressively master challenging rhythms
  • Interpret musical markings with deeper stylistic understanding

Repertoire for Stage 2 include arrangements of music from classical composers such as Schubert, Faure, and Stravinsky, in addition to bespoke works composed by up-and-coming Australian composers.
