Join us on a journey through music from the 20th and 21st century. This course is available to all musicians aged 14-19 (Years 9-12).

Complimented by exercises in rhythmic and melodic dictation and sight-singing, students will learn to use their musicological foundations to analyse the works of composers such as Debussy, Messiaen and Schoenberg, and their influence on the Western art music aesthetic.

This course is perfect for students intending to or currently studying International Baccalaureate (IB) Music, HSC Music 2 and/or Music Extension.

Music (1900-Present) focuses on essential general knowledge for the HSC Music 2 course.
