This course is available for all high school music students aged 12-19 (Years 7-12), who would like to learn more about:
- Musical notation
- Chords and harmony
- History of orchestral music
- Score reading and analysis
- Melodic and rhythmic dictation
- Sight-singing
This course is perfect for students studying Elective Music, HSC, or the International Baccalaureate.
External Musicians
Available for external musicians – no SYO Membership required.
SYO Musicians
This class is optional for SYO Symphonic Orchestral Program Musicians
Wednesdays weekly at 5:30-6:30pm
(Possible 6:30-7:30pm class depending on enrolment numbers)
Classes take place during NSW School Term periods. There are 6 sessions per school term.
Weekly classes are delivered via SYOnline and live through zoom each week
