Video Submissions Open: Thursday, 5th September 2024

Offers/Scholarship Results Sent: Wednesday, 18th December, 2024
How Auditions Work
Decide
Before you apply, select the appropriate ensemble based on your skill and experience level. Check out the 'Programs' tab above for more information. If you have questions auditions work, come to one of our Q&A sessions on 5th and 16th August!
Apply
Apply online through the SYO Audition Application form.
Download
Once you submit your Audition Application form, you will be sent the Audition Materials to download and practice.
Practice
Now is the time to practice for your audition. Take the Audition Materials to your music tutor!
Attend
Got questions about the auditions process? Attend an SYO Audition Q&A session via Zoom on Monday 5th August or Monday 15th August at 6:30pm
Record
It is now time to record your Audition Materials. Check out our tips on how to record the best audition.
Submit
Once you feel happy with your recording, it is time to submit. You will be sent a link to submit your video on Thursday 4 September. For more questions about submitting your audition, please take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions.
Results
Audition results will be released on Wedneday 18th December via email.
Enrol
Offers will close in early January.
