How Auditions Work
Decide
Before you apply, decide on your desired ensemble based on your skill and experience level. Check out the 'Programs' tab above for more information on which ensemble you should apply for.
Apply
Apply online through the SYO Audition Application form.
Attend
Got questions about the audition process? Register to join one of our online SYO Audition Q&A sessions.
Instructions
Once you submit your Audition Application form, you will be sent your Audition Instructions. Shortly after applications close you will also be sent your Audition Excerpts.
Practice
Now is the time to practice your Audition Excerpts. Take the Audition Materials and Excerpts to your private tutor!
Record
It is now time to record your Audition Materials and Excerpts. Check out our tips on how to record the best audition in our FAQ's.
Submit
Once you feel happy with your recording, it is time to submit. You will be sent a link to submit your video.
Results
Audition results and enrolment links will be released.
