Enrolling your child into an SYO program is the best way you can support us. We want to ensure that children from across the state, no matter their location or their socio-economic background, can have access to high-quality orchestral experiences.  

SYO is a not-for-profit organisation, and every dollar donated to SYO is used carefully to ensure that participation fees are kept as low as possible and so that as many young people can benefit from the joy of orchestral music.  

Every ticket that is purchased for an SYO concert does more than just help cover the costs associated with performing. Audiences demonstrate to our young musicians that people want to hear them play.  

There are many ways to get involved throughout the year. Whether you’re helping to chaperone musicians during events like the Big Busk or offering your professional skills, your time makes a meaningful difference. We’d love to hear from you.
