2023 Youth Orchestral Camp

Congratulations to all our YOC 2023 Participants!

The SYO Peter Seymour Orchestra, Richard Gill Chamber Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Orchestra and Western Sydney Youth Orchestra alongside 80 regional guests participated in a 5-day residential camp rehearsing and performing in Armidale and other regional locations.

An important part of the Orchestral Training provided to SYO musicians, YOC allowed orchestras to work together over an intensive period in rehearsals, tutorials, extra activities and multiple performances. The camp provided important opportunities to hone orchestral and musical skills as well as a platform to build strong social bonds within the orchestra (many of which will last a lifetime!).

Well done, to everyone who participated this year, we had a blast!
