Due to ongoing disruptions to international aviation routes arising from the evolving situation in the Middle East, Sydney Youth Orchestras has made the difficult decision to postpone our April International Tour.

This decision follows government travel advice and extensive consultation with our travel partners to explore alternative arrangements. The safety and wellbeing of our young musicians and staff remains our highest priority.

We are now working towards rescheduling the tour for early December, subject to travel conditions stabilising. We thank our families, partners and supporters for their understanding and continued support, and we look forward to sharing further updates as plans progress.


Tickets for SYO's Odyssey Tour concerts

In  2026, The SYO Odyssey Tour Orchestra performs at some of the most celebrated venues in the world, Berlin’s legendary Berliner Philharmonie, the baroque splendour of Prague’s Church of St Simon and Jude and the magnificent St Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna. From the concert halls where orchestral history was written to the streets where the great composers walked, these young musicians will take the European stage and return to Australia forever changed
