Four cities. Four iconic stages. One extraordinary journey. In April 2026, The SYO Odyssey Tour Orchestra performs at some of the most celebrated venues in the world, Berlin’s legendary Berliner Philharmonie, the baroque splendour of Prague’s Church of St Simon and Jude, Poland’s acclaimed Cavatina Hall in Bielsko-Biała, and the magnificent St Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna. From the concert halls where orchestral history was written to the streets where the great composers walked, these young musicians will take the European stage and return to Australia forever changed.

Sydney Youth Orchestras acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we work, rehearse, gather and perform; the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respect to Elders past and present, the original storytellers of these lands where we learn and create music today. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and honour the continuation of the oldest music practice in the world.
