2026 Key Dates – Orchestral Musicianship​

Attendance at SYO your Orchestral Musicianship classes is a vital part of your SYO membership. Musicians are expected to arrange their schedules so that they can attend all activities as per the SYO Participant Code of Conduct. If you are unable to attend a scheduled Orchestral Musicianship class, please complete an Absence Form for each day you will be absent. This includes late arrivals and early departures.

• If you need to attend a class other than your assigned time for a single date please let us know by submitting an Absence Form and selecting the ‘Changed Class Time’ option
• If you need to change your class time for the rest of the year please contact SYO staff directly at [email protected]

The SYO Musicians and Training team will receive your form and contact you if there are any issues with your request. If you do not hear from SYO, please consider your absence accepted and noted. To access your Orchestral Musicianship classes, please log in to your SYOnline account.
