- Saturday 18 February 2023 – Orientation and First Rehearsal of Term 1
- Saturday 1 April 2023 – Open Rehearsal
End of Term 1 - Tuesday 11 April to Saturday 15 April – Youth Orchestral Camp - Armidale
- Saturday 29 April 2023 – First Rehearsal of Term 2
- Saturday 3 June 2023 – Winter Showcase Weekend
End of Term 2
- Saturday 22 July 2023 – First rehearsal of Term 3*
- Thursday 28 September 2023 – The Big Busk
End of Term 3
- Saturday 14 October 2023 – First rehearsal of Term 4
- Thursday 23 November & Saturday 25 November – SYO 50th Birthday Gala Weekend
End of Term 4
*All Symphonic Orchestral Program Orchestras will undertake a regional day trip on their regular rehearsal day in Term 3 – final date to be advised in early 2023
